Hypnobirthing is so much more than just relaxation...
Are you feeling nervous about your upcoming birth? Wondering what to expect and how you'll cope?
Come and join me for one of my hypnobirthing antenatal courses in beautiful Bourton on the Water in the heart of the Cotswolds. Designed to help you feel calm, confident and in control, this is a complete hypnobirthing antenatal programme covering everything you need to know for the birth of your baby.
Whether this is your first baby, second, third, or even fourth, this course will help you feel more prepared. It doesn't matter if you are planning to have a hospital birth, homebirth, cesarean or swing from the trees, there is something here for everyone.
You can choose from a range of options to suit your needs:
Group classes - for those looking for a fun, sociable environment and the chance to meet other expectant parents.
Private classes - for those looking for a more bespoke option or who cannot make the group classes.
One day intensives - for those in a hurry or looking for a refresher.
What is hypnobirthing?
Hypnobirthing is the use of simple but effective self-hypnosis, relaxation and breathing techniques for labour and birth.
Hypnobirthing can be extremely helpful in reducing the fear and anxiety associated with childbirth and helping you to stay calm and in control through the whole experience.
Hypnobirthing is not wierd or airy fairy, it is practical and effective. The techniques of self hypnosis are easy to learn, anyone can do it even if you have no experience with hypnosis or relaxation techniques at all.
This programme is so much more than just relaxation techniques, it is a total childbirth preparation programme encompassing all that you need to know to prepare for the birth of your baby.
Hypnobirthing is suitable for anyone, whether you are having your first or second baby, having a home or hospital birth, planning a VBAC (vaginal birth after cesarean) or indeed a planned cesarean. The course content is flexible and can be tailored to your unique needs.
How will you benefit from hypnobirthing?
The benefits of hypnobirthing will of course vary but if you complete the workshop and practice the techniques at home:

Unlike many hypnobirthing teachers I am a fully qualified hypnotherapist with a busy practice specialising in womens health.
In addition to hypnobirthing I also help women with issues such as anxiety, infertility, and postnatal mental health.
I also have the added advantage of being an experienced birth doula and certified childbirth educator (since 2001), so I have plenty of hands on experience of helping couples through the life changing experience of becoming parents.
I am trained and certified by the KG Hypnobirthing institute and follow their curriculum in my teaching. I have also previously trained with Marie Mongan of the HynoBirthing institute (2004). In fact I attended the very first Hypnobirthing course ever delivered in Singapore.
You can be very confident I have the knowledge, skills and experience both in hypnosis and childbirth to offer you the very best support through your pregnancy and birth.
